Terms of Service
Launch note: this is a product-ready draft structure, not legal advice. Have qualified counsel review the final terms for the countries where PixelStory launches.
1.PixelStory service
PixelStory is a visual storyboarding service for storytellers and game-development narrative teams. It helps users arrange reusable characters, props, camera framing, dialogue, effects, imported artwork and storyboard scenes. PixelStory is not a game engine, legal service, production guarantee, or content-rights clearance service.
2.Accounts and minimum age
You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. PixelStory does not currently offer a parental-consent flow for younger users. Do not create an account if you do not meet the applicable requirement.
3.Your content and ownership
You retain ownership of original text, artwork and other content you upload. You grant PixelStory only the limited rights reasonably needed to host, process, resize, cache, render, back up and deliver that content as part of the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for anything you upload or publish.
4.Copyright and prohibited uploads
Do not upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights. PixelStory may disable access to content or accounts when necessary to address valid rights complaints, security issues, abuse, or legal obligations. See the Copyright Policy.
5.Plans, collaboration and limits
Project limits, storage, seats, exports, premium assets and other entitlements depend on the selected plan. Server-side limits may be changed prospectively as the product evolves. Shared projects remain subject to the owner workspace's plan and permissions.
6.Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout when production billing is enabled. Prices, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Subscription cancellation and invoice management are provided through the billing portal. Taxes may apply depending on location. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.
7.Acceptable use
Do not use PixelStory to attack the service, bypass access controls, upload malware, impersonate others, distribute unlawful content, or interfere with other users. Automated scraping or redistribution of PixelStory's proprietary asset library is prohibited except where expressly authorized.
8.Availability and beta features
Some features may be labeled beta or preview. Features can change as PixelStory develops. Keep backups of work that is important to you, especially during pre-release testing.
9.Termination
You may stop using PixelStory at any time. PixelStory may suspend or terminate accounts for material violations, security threats, payment failures, or legal requirements. Production terms should define notice, data export and retention periods more precisely.
10.Disclaimers and liability
Before public launch, counsel should finalize warranty disclaimers, liability limitations, governing law, dispute procedures and jurisdiction-specific consumer rights. Nothing in this draft overrides rights that cannot legally be waived.
11.Contact
Configure a real support/legal contact before launch. Current product feedback can be submitted through the Feedback page.
